NET STUDIO LLC is a company established in the United States. What that means for your data is set out under “Transfers outside the European Union”.

Data we collect

The site offers no account creation, no comments and no newsletter. The data processed is as follows.

Contact form. When you write to us through the form, we process the name, e-mail address, subject and message you enter, along with the page the message was sent from. This data is used only to reply to you. Legal basis: your consent, collected through the form’s checkbox. It is stored in the site database and deleted no later than 12 months after the last exchange.

Form abuse limiting. To block automated submissions, your IP address is turned into a non-reversible fingerprint, kept for at most one hour, used solely to count recent submissions. The IP address itself is neither recorded nor retained by this mechanism. Legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting the service.

Technical browsing data — IP address, browser type, pages visited. This data is processed by the hosting provider (server logs, security) and, where applicable, by the audience measurement and advertising tools described below.

On your first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies, purpose by purpose. You can change your choice at any time via the cookie management link on the site. Refusing cookies does not prevent access to the content.

Advertising — Google AdSense

The site may display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to serve personalised or non-personalised ads, depending on your consent. Learn more: How Google uses data. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

Audience measurement

The site may use an audience measurement tool for traffic statistics. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.

Retention periods

  • Messages sent through the form: 12 months maximum after the last exchange.
  • Anti-abuse fingerprint: 1 hour.
  • Cookie consent: 6 months maximum.
  • Server logs: per the legal retention periods applicable to the hosting provider.

Recipients

Messages sent through the form are accessible only to the publication director. They are never sold, rented or passed to third parties for marketing purposes.

Transfers outside the European Union

The site is hosted in France (o2switch), and form data is stored on that server. As the data controller is established in the United States, reading those messages constitutes access from a third country. In addition, the advertising and audience measurement providers mentioned above may transfer data outside the European Union; such transfers rely on the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR, in particular the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time.
